This Month’s Events For Publishers, Editors & Writers

May flowers are popping up and so are a number of events aimed at independent publishers, editors, and writers. Here’s some Northwest happenings as well as what Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) is doing at the biggest book convention in the United States for indie publishers.

Free Marketing Strategy Webinar with Beth Jusino

In March, Seattle writer and marketeer Beth Jusino spoke at the Author’s Guild’s Seattle Business Boot Camp for Writers. She is repeating her advice in this free webinar open to AG members and non-members. The talk about marketing strategies will last about 90 minutes, with plenty of time for Q&A, says Jusino.     Do you have a contact to get bar codes? I need to reorder for my Shoe Print Art Book, & the co. I’ve used previously seems to have closed. I’d appreciate your help.

    Don’t have any particular vendor for bar codes. Have you talked to your printer? They may have a vendor that they’ve used in the past. I’ll put the query out too and see if I can get an answer.
