One of the most frequent questions that we receive is “should I join Book Publishers Northwest?”

If you are a book publisher, working in the publishing industry, or provide services to book publishers and are located in Washington state, Book Publishers Northwest is the place to network with others, discuss issues related to the business of publishing, and grow your businesses

If you are a writer seeking a publisher, you are welcome to join but you also may want to consider some of the many groups in our region who focus more exclusively on the business of writing.

If you are located outside of Washington state, we suggest checking the activities of the other affiliates of Independent Book Publishers Association to find a group closer to you. Non-Northwest members are welcome to join, but should be aware that most of our activities occur in the Northwest.

Book Publishers Northwest is a affiliate of IBPA, and works with this national organization to strengthen the independent publishing industry. Among the many benefits of this partnership is the annual scholarship offered to BPNW members for their Publishing University. Learn more by clicking here.
