U.S. Book Show Begins

The first U.S. Book Show will be a three-day virtual event presented by Publishers Weekly to serve the book publishing and bookselling community. Filling the hole left by the departure of BookExpo, publishers hope to build buzz about Fall 2021 titles and create similar one-to-one connections with exhibitors and attendees during the May 25– 27 event.

The book fair portion will offer 14 panels geared to librarians, booksellers and publishing professionals.

In addition, more than 80 publishers and allied vendors will be in the “exhibit halls” at the virtual conference.

Special bookseller attendee pricing is available for $35, which includes access to the live event and all of the panels and content for three months following so attendees can take their time to go through publisher materials, replay panels, and collect resources. To find out more, see the website:

  1. Hi Rosemary!

Much has changed since I last talked to you and I am now a co-publisher with River Lily Press—San Antonio/Seattle. We have four books in our previously-published list and two in the works for 2021.

Any idea how we go about getting the bookseller’s promo code?

Hi Andrea: Sorry I just found this. WordPress tends to hide comments on me. I think you have to go through their website to find it. There’s some contact info on their media pages.
