The Portland Book Festival goes free and entirely virtual this year. Rather than one long weekend, the organizers extended programming for more than two weeks, from November 5 to 21, 2020.

The 2020 Portland Book Festival, presented by Bank of America, will include more than 100 authors from Oregon and across the globe. The majority of events will be free to access via a custom streaming site. Three author events will require a book purchase to attend.

Beside readings and discussion panels, the festival will  offer a variety of writing courses.
