Island Books on Mercer Island, WA, turns 45 on November 1 and will celebrate on Saturday, November 3. Fans care invited to join the community celebration, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and add to a 1970s memory wall.

Third Place Books, with stores in Lake Forest Park, Ravenna, and Seward Park also celebrates on November 3.  To mark 20 years in business, there will be food, drink, local lit band The Rejections, and Celebrity Jeopardy from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Lake Forest Park store.
