The following people have signed up to volunteer at Booth 15 at the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association Tradeshow. We still have some times open, especially on Sunday, September 30, if you’d like to join them. Sign up here by Tuesday, September 24.
All volunteers will receive a 3-day badge for the show ($100 value) and can attend education sessions on September 28 as well as the trade show on September 29 and 30.
This year the show is being held at the Hotel Murano, 1320 Broadway, Tacoma, WA 98402. More details here.
Rosemary Jones and Phoebe Matthews – transportation of all books submitted to the show on Friday and donation of books to Rural Library Drive on Sunday. Have been doing collection of books and issuing email updates since August.
Carl Munson – Friday afternoon set-up and Saturday opening. Carl will be doing an author give away on Saturday morning between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Carl also will be at the booth during the 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. slot if people need to pick up books on Saturday to take home.
Laura Lahm – Will be helping at the booth starting at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday and doing an author give away between 11:30 am and 1:30 p.m. that day.
Laura Grosskopf – Will be doing an author give away between 11:30 am and 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and helping at the booth until 3:30 p.m.
Shepherd Siegel – Will be helping at the booth between 11:30 am and 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and doing an author give away between 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Lorraine Rath – Will be doing an author give away between 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Karen Robbins – Will be working at the booth or doing an author give away between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 30.
Peter Kahle and Lani Jacobsen – Will be giving away copies of 74th Street Productions’ The Pen & The Key from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Janey Bennett – Will be doing an author give away between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 30.
The trade show closes at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 30.
Any books not removed by publishers and authors from the booth will be donated to the Rural Library Drive, which helps provide books for an underfunded library. Book Publishers Northwest is proud to collaborate in this effort with the other exhibitors and organizer Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association.
