Great Northwest Readers’ Advisory Unconference In October

LibraryReads is organizing a “the first ever Great NW Readers’ Advisory Unconference,” October 7, at the Hillsboro Public Library.

Aimed at library staff who may be unable to attend larger state or national conferences, the event uses the “Choose Your Own Adventure” model where participants meet in the morning and decide on topics of discussion. The $20 entrance fee includes lunch and speaker.

Because this unconference takes place the day before the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association Trade Show, attendees will be invited to join the educational track there on Sunday, October 8, at the Jantzen Beach Red Lion.
