Free Reading Series Focuses On Women & Work

hedgebrookMichelle Goodman announced through Seattle WriterGrrls that “Wage Slaves: The 78 Cents Edition” will be held on January 19 from 7-9 pm at Hugo House on Capitol Hill, 1634 11th Ave. This special all-women edition of the Seattle reading series about work features memoirist Sonya Lea (“Wondering Who You Are”), poet Michelle Peñaloza (“landscape/heartbreak” “Last Night I Dreamt of Volcanoes”), writer/commercial fisherman Tele Aadsen (“Hooked”), poet/playwright/interdisciplinary artist Storme Webber (“Diaspora,” “Blues Divine”), and fiction writer Jean Burnet (Los Angeles Review, Brevity, and Palaver).
