7th Annual Book Festival In Portland Announced

Veronica Esagui, DC, announced recently that the 7th Annual NW Book Festival will be held at the historical Pioneer Courthouse Square in downtown Portland, OR, on July 25, 2015, 11 am to 5 pm.

For five or more authors sharing a tent space, Esagui offers a special group fee of $100.00/10X10 tent space. If somebody in Book Publishers Northwest is willing to organize such a space, including providing a tent, arranging transportation, and staffing for full time of show (see basic information below), Book Publishers Northwest can reimburse the organizer the rental cost ($100) upon presentation of the receipt from Northwest Book Festival and up to $100 for travel. Basic Information On Display For Individual Authors or Publishers

Exhibitors must supply a single tent (no bigger than 10×10), tables, tablecloths, decorations, chairs, books to sell, bags for merchandise, and change. No one will be allowed to set up their tables without a tent or some form of cover to protect their books from the weather. Esagui will work with individual authors to see if they are willing share their space in exchange for sharing the cost. See fees below for more than one author being represented that way.

FEES: 10×10 tent space, $50.00 per author/vendor with as many books as that author/vendor has written. It does not include someone else’s books.

2 authors sharing a 10×10 tent, the fee is $40.00 per each author.
3 authors sharing a 10×10 tent, the fee is 30.00 per each author.
4 authors sharing a 10×10 tent, the fee is $25.00 per each author.
5 authors sharing a 10×10 tent, the fee is $20.00 per each author.

All Northwest Book Festival contracts and fees are due no later than June 26, 2015 and are subject to space availability.
