2015 Winter and Spring Meetings

podiumBook Publishers Northwest’s meetings moved to early evenings in 2014 to better accommodate all our working authors and publishers. All meetings at Good Shepherd Center in Seattle continue to be free for anyone interested in the business side of publishing. BPNW meetings focus on the production and marketing of books — how to write a book is a topic that we leave to the many wonderful local writing groups.

The schedule through June currently is:

(Tue.) 6 pm to 8 pm, Rm 223
Topic: Formatting for Ebooks with Judy Klein and Marcella

(Tue.) 6 pm to 8 pm, Rm 223
Topic: Hand Selling Unusual Titles with David Volk

(Mon.) 6 pm to 8 pm, Rm 223
Topic: Indie Publishing with Kathryn Dennis and Laura Robb, 2014 IBPA Scholarship Winners

(Mon.) 6 pm to 8 pm,  Rm 221
Topic: Hidden Resources That You Can Tap Now with Posy Gering

(Mon.) 6 pm to 8 pm, Rm 221

(Mon.) 6 pm to 8 pm,  Rm 223

All meetings listed above will take place at Good Shepherd Center, 4649 Sunnyside Avenue North, Seattle, WA. There is free parking on site and bus stops located within a couple blocks of the entrance. Speaker fees and room rent is paid through BPNW memberships, so we can offer these educational sessions for free.
