Beth Chapple reports that the American Society for Indexing conference will be held in Seattle in 2015 and they are looking for speakers. “I have been a member of that organization for a few years now. I am thinking of putting together a presentation myself and wonder if anyone at Book Publishers Northwest is thinking of organizing a seminar or workshop. I have even been asked for help in locating 15 to 20 local publishers who also might be interested in attending/speaking at the conference, and whom we might invite to a publishers’ reception,” she wrote in a recent email.
The ASI annual conferences will be held April 30 to May 1 at MOTIF SEATTLE, 1415 Fifth Avenue, in downtown Seattle, WA. Conference sessions focus on the best and most up-to-date advances in indexing as an information organization and retrieval resource.
