Potlatch, a small, literary, speculative fiction convention, returns to Seattle in February. Designed for fans of the genre, readers and writers meet during a single track of programming that continues from one program to the next and goes on into the evening. The convention alternates between Seattle, the San Francisco Bay Area in California, and Portland, Oregon.
The workshop is open to all speculative fiction writers, regardless of experience. A professional writer or editor critiques the work, along with several of your peers. Critiques are done in a round-robin Clarion West style. Submissions for the workshop generally are accepted in January.
Potlatch 24 will be held in Seattle, February 6, 7, and 8, 2015, at the Hotel Deca in the University District. Potlach also will have a writer’s workshop and a small dealer’s room.
