Publishers or independent authors who are members of Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) can join BPNW at their booth for the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Fall Trade Show 2014.
The cost to display one title and 25 pieces of sales literature at the BPNW booth is $50. Each additional display book would be $50. Any sales literature submitted can list multiple books.
Since this trade show is attended by independent booksellers and librarians, BPNW recommends that the sales literature lists distributors as well as direct contact information. The majority of the attendees are from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska.
To receive the IBPA/Affiliate $50 rate, the display copy, sales literature, and payment is due at BPNW by July 30. After August 1, the cost is $90 per title. No books will be accepted after Sept. 15.
Display copy, sales literature, and payment should be sent to Book Publishers Northwest, 2212 Queen Anne Ave North #275, Seattle WA 98109. Checks should be made out to Book Publishers Northwest.
All display copies will be donated to the PNBA’s Rural Library Project at the end of the show. These books will be entered into the permanent collection of a rural library selected by PNBA.
If a publisher has a Northwest author available to do a book signing/give away to booksellers and librarians at the booth, sign-ups for this will be sent in August. Slots will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Authors or their publishers will be responsible for delivering signing copies (25 to 50 recommended for give-aways) to the booth and removing them prior to the end of the show.
