The June 10 meeting of the Northwest Writers & Publishers Association (NWPA) at the Tualatin Public Library will focus on the “Science and Art of Self-Publishing” with Connie Carmichael Hill, former events program manager for Portland’s New Renaissance Bookshop. The author of Money Stories, Hill will cover such issues as book size, fonts, paper color, ISBNs, front and, back matter, editing and editors, what a POD publisher can provide, and what to do before and after publishing.
This meeting begins at 6:30 p.m, June 10, at the Tualatin Public Library, 18878 SW Martinazzi Ave., Tualatin, OR. Self-publishers, marketers, journalists, artists, authors and aspiring authors are welcome. There is no charge for NWPA members or students under the age of 18. Others pay $5 to $10.
