Idaho Writer’s Rendezvous Returns In May

BoiseIdahoGeared primarily for writers seeking publishers, the Idaho Writer’s Rendezvous offers a chance to pitch to agents, get insight on works-in-progress, meet well-known authors, and learn what the East Coast’s big houses are looking for.

Literary agents Nephele Tempest, Pooja Menon, and Ron Levine will be available for scheduled pitches, and editors Elizabeth Day and Stacy Ennis will offer manuscript critiques.

Pulitzer Prize winning author Ron Powers presents the keynote at the 2014 Rendezvous. Known as the second most famous author from Hannibal, MO, he wrote Dangerous Water, A Biography of the Boy Who Became Mark Twain, and Mark Twain, A Life as well co-authored Flags of Our Fathers, which was made into a movie by Clint Eastwood. Other author guests include USA Today Bestseller Ciji Ware (A Race to Splendor) and Whiting Award winner Daniel Orcozco (Orientation and Other Stories).
