Judith Gille’s memoir The View from Casa Chepitos: A Journey Beyond the Border about her hot pink house on a rundown alleyway explores the cross-cultural issues of being an American in Mexico. The Davis Bay Press author appeared at numerous events to help market her work.
This weekend, Gille signed books at the AWP conference in Seattle on Saturday and delighted her hosts by bringing some cookies.
Today (March 2), she will present a slide show at 3 p.m. at Eagle Harbor Book Co. on Bainbridge Island, WA.
Earlier in February, the busy author sold out all copies of her book at the San Miguel Writer’s Conference.
Want to know more about marketing a memoir? Don’t miss our March 17 meeting at Good Shepherd Center, 4649 Sunnyside N, Seattle. It starts at 6 pm in Room 223.
