Our January meeting speakers are offering a more intensive course on effective marketing for authors at the Women’s University Club on Feb. 26.
Maria Dykstra of TreDigital, Karen Lynn Maher of LegacyONE Authors, and Margo Myers of Margo Myers Communications call their hands-on workshop “An Authorship MBA” designed to help any author carry out a well-crafted marketing strategy. The speakers will focus on:
Establishing a brand as an author
Understanding the “must have” elements of a promotional plan
Setting up social media profiles
Identifying ‘key topics’ around a book’s content
Developing a blueprint for your social media strategy and editorial calendar
Learning how to find and engage an audience
