Meetings Provide Free Publishing Tips

Book Publishers Northwest offers nine free educational meetings a year to help anyone interested in learning more about the business of publishing. Our January meeting was filled with tips for attendees on using social media to build an author platform, including the latest information on Facebook, Twitter, and Google Plus. You do not need to be a member to attend.

“Thank you for organizing the BPNW events.  I’m not always able to make them, but when I do, I enjoy them.  More night meeting ones would be welcomed!” wrote Kathryn White after the meeting. White recently released her story Odin the Ferret for Amazon’s Kindle.

White’s wish will be realized this spring as we offer two night meetings, one in March and one in May, for those who cannot make the late afternoon meetings at Good Shepherd Center.  Take a look at the calendar on this website for more information.

We also encourage people to send information about publishing events in their community for sharing at bpnw.org.  Send your event notice to bpnwnews at aol.com.
