Building A Brand As A Non-Fiction Writer

GemTrails_RomaineOregon field guide writer Garret Romaine will be the featured speaker at the January meeting of the Northwest Writers and Publishers Association.

Romaine will discuss how he turned a passion for rock hounding and writing into a career as a columnist and author. A Fellow in the Society for Technical Communication, Romaine is the authors of such books as Gem Trails of Oregon and teaches technical writing at Portland State University.

This meeting takes place at the Tualatin Public Library, 18878 SW Martinazzi Ave., Tualatin, OR, on Jan. 14, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. NWPA members or students under the age of 18 can attend this meeting for free. For others, the fees range from $5 to $10.
