Cut Bank Creek Press released their second title this month: How to Say I Love You in Indian by Gyasi Ross with a forward by renowned Native activist, environmentalist, economist and author Winona LaDuke.
This collection of stories and poems follows their well-received first book, Don’t Know Much About Indians (but i wrote this book about us anyways) also by Ross, now in its third printing.
Ross will discuss his new book on December 14 from 7 to 9pm at the American Indian Community House at 134 W. 29th St. 4th Floor, New York City.
This BPNW member was the recipient of the 2013 IBPA Publishing University scholarship. Established in 2011, Cut Bank Creek Press focuses on providing opportunities for indigenous writers and poets to tell their own stories.
