The Northwest Writers & Publishers Association (NWPA) and the Tualatin Public Library end their 2013 series of meetings with “How to Tell Your Story and Sell Your Book.”
Acting coach and publisher Nancy McDonald will be guiding publishers and authors through an interactive lecture/workshop on perfecting the elements that go into telling the story of your work, whether it be to an audience of one through a short conversation or an audience of thousands through an interview or presentation. McDonald’s diverse background as an actor, director, producer, corporate trainer, arts educator, private coach and publisher has given her a unique perspective and innovative style. While working as a professional actor, she founded Shakespeare Stage Company in New York and The Writer’s Lab in Hollywood. She is the owner of Indelible Mark Publishing and most recently published The One Idea That Saves The World: A Call to Conscience and A Call to Action by Laurence Overmire.
NWPA meets at the Tualatin Public Library, 18878 SW Martinazzi Ave.,Tualatin, OR 97062. Their last meeting of the year takes place on Dec. 10, 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Cost ranges from free for NWPA members to $10 for others.
