Wallace Library Selected to Receive Book Donations

WallaceLibraryThe Wallace Public Library in Wallace, ID, will receive hundreds of new books courtesy of the 2013 Michael Pritiken Rural Library Project. Each year, Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association selects a library to receive book donations from exhibitors at the PNBA Tradeshow.

Book Publishers Northwest has been a proud supporter of this important program to provide a broad selection of titles for a library that otherwise could not afford to purchase titles.  All books displayed at the BPNW exhibit will be donated to the library at the end of the show.

Two representatives from the Wallace Library will journey to Portland in October to help program coordinator Colin Rea collect and pack books and to transport the donated books to Wallace. The library was nominated by Vanderford’s Books & Office Products, of Sandpoint, ID.

The 2013 PNBA Tradeshow kicks off in Portland on Oct. 6 at the Holiday Inn Portland-Airport.

BPNW members interested in having a title displayed at the BPNW exhibit should ship their books to BPNW to arrive by Sept. 30.
