The Northwest Writers & Publishers Association (NWPA) will focus on e-marketing ebooks for the August 13 meeting at the Tualatin Public Library, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Cheri Lasota will focus on “marketing for the truly motivated” with tips on audio/video, autographing ebooks, and ebook cards. She also will discuss promotion groups, Amazon tips and tricks, and the brand new ways writers are packaging and selling their stories. Don’t miss this class. You’ll come out of it itching to get started on your new marketing plan.
Lasota has written poetry and fiction for sixteen years, edited fiction for nine years, and now does design work for enhanced ebooks. Her debut novel, Artemis Rising, was a 2012 finalist in the Next Generation Indie Books Awards.
NWPA meetings are held at the Tualatin Public Library, 18878 SW Martinazzi Ave., Tualatin, Oregon. The meeting fee is $5 to $10 but NWPA members or students under the age of 18 are free.
