Hide & Seek Press wins Benjamin Franklin award

karenrobbinswithawardKaren Robbins holds the The Bill Fisher Award for Best First Book (Children’s/Young Adult) for Shoe Print Art: Step Into Drawing, published by Book Publishers Northwest member Hide & Seek Press.

Shoe Print Art demonstrates how children can turn their shoe print into fifty-five fun drawings ranging from bumblebees to king monsters. Projects and more information can be found at the Shoe Print Art website.

Seattle author Robbins also wrote Care For Our World, Big Bulletin Boards: A Cooperative Approach, and Year Round Holiday Crafts. She appeared as “Miss Karen” on television’s Romper Room Show and holds a master of education degree from the University of Puget Sound.
