Tweak An Amazon Listing for Optimal Visibility (and Irresistibility!)
Amazon wants us to sell more books – it benefits both us and them!
So, they’ve given us several tools that we should be taking advantage of in order to tweak our book listings and maximize sales. Unfortunately very few authors and publishers know about or are utilizing them properly. At our February meeting, Laura Pepper Wu will walk us through a handful of ways in which we can optimize our listings to become a) more visible on Amazon, and b) more irresistible to potential readers.
Laura Pepper Wu is a writer of non-fiction wedding guides and fiction too. She “fell” into book marketing in early 2010 after successfully promoting her husband’s GMAT preparation guide to an Amazon #1 bestseller. Her own books have all been Amazon bestsellers too. She has since worked with dozens of authors and small press to help nail their author brands, improve their online presence, and increase their PR and outreach efforts. Laura is also the creator of the site Ladies Who Critique.com which connects over 1200 male and female writers to find critique partners.
