San Juan Islands and Beyond

Northwest photographer Karyn King recently released her first title after being encouraged by her client bookstores and galleries to publish her photos in a book. San Juan Islands and Beyond – A Photographer’s Journey is the first title from HerMajestyPress.com and features 112 pages of King’s full color images.

On March 31, a book launch party will be held from 4 to 7 pm at Park Place Books in Kirkland. All are welcome to stop by and receive a free gift.

“In addition, I have books signings scheduled March 24, 11-2 at Island Studios Gallery Friday Harbor, April 14, 11-3 at the Made In Washington/Sea Bear Gift store in Anacortes, April 15, 2-5 at the Rexville Grocery, Rexville, May 5 at the Whale Museum in Friday Harbor, July 4 at Harbor Bookstore in Friday Harbor, after the parade, and in Roche Harbor,” she said in a recent e-mail. A Woodinville resident since 1989, King has donated much of her time and efforts to community outreach programs and animal shelters.  Proceeds from these  sales will benefit the Whale Museum and other local animal rescue programs.
