Paul Doyle, Executive Director of Seattle BookFest, has named Sheryn Hara, owner of Book Publishers Network of Bothell, the festival coordinator for Seattle BookFest 2010. The annual event, sponsored by Columbia City Cinema, Columbia City Business Association, and the Rainier Chamber of Commerce, will take place October 23 and 24. The event is free and open to the public.
Publishers, booksellers and dozens of authors will be on hand to promote their latest offerings, as well as poetry readings, a children’s area, and an exhibition of graphic artists.
“This is a wonderful event and I am excited to be more involved this year,” said Hara. “We plan to have more authors participating than ever before. They will do readings and have book signings throughout both days and, as in years past, there will be informative panel discussions as well,” she adds.
For more information on how you might get involved or to submit an application for booth space, call 425-483-3040 or send an email to email@example.com.
Hara will lead BPNW’s September meeting on preparing for Bookfest in Seattle and PNBA’s fall trade show in Portland.
