The founders/producers of the Seattle Antiquarian Book Fair, which occurs each October, launched a Book and Paper Show in 2009 with small art presses on display as well as antiquarian and used booksellers. The 2010 Seattle Book and Paper Show has been scheduled for May at the Seattle Center.
This year, booksellers David Gregor and Louis Collins are inviting sellers of new books, book publishers, and small presses to join their usual line-up sellers of used and collectible books, book artists, print sellers, and map dealers. The goal is to bring back “a touch of the old Northwest Bookfest” according to a letter recently sent out.
The 2010 Seattle Book and Paper Show takes place May 22 to 23. A 10′ by 10′ space is $295: exhibitors will be responsible for their own furnishings or renting furnishings from the show’s producers. More information can be found at www.seattlebookandpapershow.com.
