Smashwords helps publishers publish and distribute ebooks to major online retailers including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Sony and Shortcovers, and across all mobile smart phone platforms. Mark is an outspoken advocate for independent publishing. He frequently writes and speaks about how ebooks will transform publishing and open up new worldwide markets for publishers. Mark blogs for the Huffington Post’s Books section, where he writes about ebooks and the future of publishing. Mark is also the co-author, with his wife, of Boob Tube, a novel that explores the dark side of Hollywood celebrity.
