Bright Ring book honored in Moonbeam Awards

Great American Artists for Kids, published by BPNW member Bright Ring Publishing, has won a bronze Moonbeam Children’s Book Award in the category of Activity Book 1 – Games, Arts & Crafts.

Great American Artists for Kids by MaryAnn F. Kohl and Kim Solga also was a finalist in the Benjamin Franklin Awards earlier this year

The Moonbeam Awards ceremony will be held on October 10 as part of the West Virginia Book Festival in Charleston, WV. The Awards are intended to bring increased recognition to exemplary children’s books and their creators, and to support childhood literacy and life-long reading.

  1. Thank you for the announcement. This book seems to be catching on! Like most of my books, the first year is slow, and then WHAMMO, the second year it takes off. Great American Artists for Kids is my first full color book and very exciting for me as an author and publisher. Thank you again, BPNW!
