PNBA exhibition got bigger on second day

David Ash, who helped coordinate the table at the PNBA Fall Trade Show, sent this report from the show last week:

Our intrepid band of volunteers, Adam, Keely, Velani, and Susan, just got something of a mid-flight free upgrade to business class. On Saturday, BPNW moved from Table 116 and took over tables 114 and 115 instead, making them the first corner island folks saw when they entered the exhibit hall.

Thanks to Keely and Velani’s book being in the Buzz Book category on Friday, lots of folks visited the BPNW table to hear what their book is about. Quite a few grabbed the handouts for other books as well.

At our Sept. 17 meeting, Ash went on to explain that another exhibitor left after the first day. Rather than have empty tables face the entry, PNBA’s organizers kindly moved Book Publisher Northwest into a larger space, allowing our exhibition to spread over two tables instead of one.

Traffic was lighter on Saturday, reported Ash, but the new tables meant nobody missed our exhibition.

Book Publishers Northwest would like to extend its thanks to Ash and all the volunteers for making this exhibition in Portland possible.
